The journey of a humble and determined artist creating musical ear candy

Greg Gutty the very humble and determined artist has created a new sound using his passionate approach leaving all of his fans begging for more. This new sound is called Rehipsoul. It's an updated fusion of Reggae, Hip-Hop and Rhythm and Blues. Every sound he creates can be identified as musical ear candy. Greg has developed a unique self-taught sound he shares with the world.

Greg Gutty believes that everyday is a battle within the mind to do right or wrong. Knowing we all know right from wrong yet it's a constant choice of decisions made daily and a lot of those decisions derive from the spirits you have within. Everyday is a spiritual warfare to do the right thing.

At the age of 5, little Gregory Yancey Jr in his carefully tailored three-piece suits was the lead singer of an acappella Gospel group named "4 of a Kind". These young kings wowed the church crowds and community groups with certain southern gospel favorites such as "This Little Light of Mine" and "Amazing Grace". The young Kings experienced Apollo's "Amateur Night" twice, developing the knowledge needed to pursue Gregory Gutty's music career.

In his teen years Gutty experimented with Rap music, but that genre did not fulfill his desire to deliver messages to his fans about love, and life. Never giving up by 2012, Gutty took the mid -Atlantic by storm when he released his family drama hit Child Support.

Since then he has performed at many popular venues, opening up doors to many concerts offering the opening act with plethora of the top national reggae and r&b artists such as Mario Winans, The Wailers, Mavado, Richie Spice, and entrepreneur comedian and actor Lil Duval. Working alongside founding member of the Grammy award-winning group Blackstreet Levi Little, as well as Corte Ellis who is profoundly known for writing songs for Britney Spears and Beyonce.
